Halloween time in Chico!

Party time at Oz.  Barbara and Norm Fast (our gallery managers) had a party in the barn and invited all of their band friends to compete in a band scramble.  It was a fun night.  It's been years since I danced so much!

Another happy visit with Mark, Ryan, and Myla while Glori stayed in Chico to take her Yoga Instructor classes.  Mark and I enjoy cooking together making  pecan and banana cream pies.  Mark bbq'd chicken and salmon;  all very tasty.  We went up on the hill to help with getting firewood with Don, Mark, and Ryan doing the heavy work with Myla and I helping out. We made pumpkin and apple crumb pies on last month's visit.

Beautiful fall, but waiting for the rains to begin.

I realize that Charlotte is not as engaging of a pet as a cute little dog, but this is a closeup of her and you can see the golden filaments. Like Wilbur I was amazed watching her consume a bug almost as large as she is. Don likes the fact that she doesn't cost anything.  Can you see her legs?
