Don is going to build a 12'x24' shed next to the garage to house the riding lawn mower, cement mixer, motorcycle, etc. And a bit of glazing chemicals???

Mount Timpanogos, Utah

Just returned from Utah for two weeks. I forgot how sore you get with skiing!!! We miss the Timpanogos Mountain Range - view from our lot. Nice to back to simple Missouri.....the redtail hawks are, once again, sitting in their nest and we are having fun watching them with the telescope. The 500+ bulbs I planted last fall are coming up, so Spring is here. Now....to get back into the groove of anesthesia.

The Fresnel lens is out of the tower!

I attended the annual lighthouse meeting today (great goodies) and was quite impressed with the work that has been done. The lens has been moved out of the tower which now has a floor and the usual spectacular coastal view. Flush toilets have replaced the pits. The aquarium is gone (I missed it). There was a smokey smell during the meeting and they quickly covered the windows so the sun would not burn us down.

My first tulips of the season. I planted them 2 years ago and didn't realize that they would be so short. We are catching up with the rain....about 70% of normal for the year. We keep the candles out, because our power outages are frequent.
