We could go there on the way to the KOA. I've never seen a volcano.
It is beautiful. How active is it?
It's located North East of Chico, about 1 1/2 hour drive. The last time it erupted was 1912. More can be learned at www.nps.gov/lavo/ It's a beautiful area with many lakes and camp sites.
