Don made a sturdy table to hold Peter Pugger. I've thrown tall piece#1 and plan to make 3 more before November's show. This one is 20" and my kiln will hold a 25" piece. We'll see if I can do it. And, of course, glazing is yet to be done.

Murray Update

He's been feeling really crappy--exhausted, constant gut pain--and is looking forward to completing his latest round of meds in a few days. No fever, and his white blood cell count was fine when they checked a week ago. We had a meeting with surgeon last Wednesday, which was a bit frustrating--a long wait for a short meeting only to be told that he should have a colonoscopy right away. Which is a good thing, I think, but why couldn't that have been a phone call? Noone wants to rush into surgery, that's for sure, and the procedure will be revealing, I'm guessing. (Mmm, YouTube, anyone?) One big concern is how long he'll have to live with the pain. Maybe the colonoscopy will answer that question.
