How, what, who, did this happen to? It looks painful. And lucky to have not been worse. So Sorry!

Mark was moving the b-b-que to work with his boss when the back part of the lid came down on his thumb slicing it immediately. He didn't have his glasses on and wasn't quite sure at first what happened. After a few minutes he realized he need to get to the emergency room. The pain came later, then they numbed it. Not much can be done. Keep it clean, wrapped, wait for the skin to regrow... We feel shocked that it happened and lucky that it wasn't worse. What a drag. Doc says it should regrow in 2 to 3 weeks, and then over time it will fill in to have more of a bulbous end. He took some painkillers last night to ensure sleep, however, he doesn't have pain yet this morning. They had to cauterize it to stop the heavy bleeding, which could have deadened the nerves. Crazy man!!!
