Isn't the 'shed' going to be beautiful?!

Fishing at Eagle Lake

Don camped out at Eagle Lake for 3 days and caught this beautiful 18" rainbow trout with the fishing pole the Kirsie gave him. Our neighbors, Gary and Marie, were camped nearby and Marie invited Don for meals, so he was a happy camper. He caught another trout almost as large and a smaller one. I stayed home to throw pots for the 4th of July art fair.

Sell out show!

We had a Memorial Day show at the old cityart in Point Arena and I sold a reasonable amount, but when I came to pack up my unsold stuff a woman was there that bought almost all of the stuff I had left! Freaky!

Hey, Chandran, do you remember the water tower up on Eureka Hill that you helped Don work on?? All 1200 gallons of water came tumbling down. Fortunately no one was hurt.

The Real "Docs"....Julius B. Phillips

Tim, from the Monterey Maritime Museum, has put some of Julie's photos on a plaque on Cannery Row. The plaque is next to one about Doc Ricketts and across the way from the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Don, too, is planting trees this again year. He's setting the redwood starts in 1 gal. pots and will not put them in the ground until next winter.
