The business is nice and the people are very friendly. I appreciate how many people speak english, since reading and speaking Thai would be quite the undertaking. I like the food, but it is generally too spicy for me. However, I have trying as many new dishes as I can muster and have consumed many mystery meats. The trip over was long, but good. From the time I left my house to drive to SF in the evening until I arrived in Chiang Mai, I had been traveling for about 30 hours. Also, plane seats do not appear to be designed for guys my size.
