well drilling
The well drillers are putting in a 200' well. They ran into a sandy patch at 40' so they need longer pipe to keep the sand from filling up the well. They'll be back tomorrow and maybe Ryan will be able to see their rig in action. An amazing thing.

We know who we are
Ryan broke his foot in Friday while he was trying to kick a metal post out of the ground. Its a hairline fracture of the second-smallest toe. We were concerned about about damage to the growth plate, but it appears to be fine. My first and last show.
My pottery show at the Dolphin in Gualala was very successful. Of the 48 pieces displayed about a third sold, purchased mostly by friends. The exhibit will be up until the 20th. A big hit was the fish cakes I made from Don's blue and black rock fish that he speared 2 days before the dreaded colon havoc.

Just another night at Sigma Kappa
It was Father Daughter night at Sigma Kappa Sorority. Felicia and her sisterhood showed us dad's a great time. About 100 us had dinner at the house, catered by Outback- it was very good. Then we all loaded up on a trolley that took us to the local bowling alley. The Axtell's walked away with the kingpin!
After a great meal and a few balls down the lane, we headed out to a fellow sisterhood's house for some lively talk over some burning logs. Of course beer bong is the main attraction, and of course the Axtell's dominated again.
Thank you Felicia for show me a great time! It was my first Sigma Kappa sorority party! The sisterhood knows how to have fun!
