My fancy parrot tulips were just a one-year flash in the pot, but my Queen of the Night bulbs are proliferating. I seem to be on a purple kick this year--ranunculus, violets, freesia, tulips, all coming up in shades of purple.
All the rest of you are doing it, why shouldn't we?

Your Queen of the Nights are lovely. I had some but during the summer last year I put a lupine plant in my big blue pot and it seems to have taken over even during the bulb season. And the lupine has never bloomed. I miss my Queen of the Nights.
